Redskins Victorious, Eagles Fall Into Last

ALL RIGHT!

Finally, a win over the Eagles. It just took eight chances to get one. But all that is history now. Focusing on the here and now of 2005, the Redskins took care of business and put themselves in good position going into the second half of the season. They are 5-3 overall, but more importantly, 2-1 in the division and 5-1 in the conference.

Heading in to the back-to-back division games, all the Redskins needed to do was split. But everyone panicked last week. Not because the Redskins lost, but because they were beaten so badly. But as I've been saying, that game was not a must have for the Skins. It put more pressure on them last night to beat Philly, but that's it. And the Redskins beat Philly.

I'll have more notes about the Skins game later on this afternoon. Get ready for another angry rant about ESPN's coverage.

17-10!
